Those Handie Talkie (HT) connections marked with an astrisk (*) need to have a resistor in line with the Push To Talk circuit (pin 3). Values are given where available. PacComm provides the .1 mfd capacitor in the Transmit Audio circuit that would otherwise be required to be in line with Pin 1 on HT's.
Where "Speaker" is given for Recieve Audio, there is no pin available on the microphone connector for Recieve Audio. Pin 4 of the packet controller is to be connected to the external speaker output of the radio, or direct audio output. One technique is to run the speaker cord from the mic connector, rather than run two cords back to the radio.
