Ozzie's Tips for UPOC Users

by Robert Osband, "Ozzie321"

UPOC.Com is a web site where you can join "Communities Of Interest", and share SMS (Short Message Service) Text Messages with other people who are interested in the same things you are. I've set up a couple of "Communities" myself, namely, "Launch Holds & Scrubs", "Launch chat", and "Political Satire".

The "LaunchHolds" page was set up because I hate driving down US-1 after a launch has been scrubbed, and see people still waiting for a launch that won't happen. The problem was, they haven't gotten The Word yet. I have over 300 people signed up for the updates, which are sent to their mobile phones as they wait by the Indian River, or Atlantic Ocean for a launch from the Cape Canaveral Spaceport. It's set up so that only I can send to the group. Any replies to my message come only to me.

I get my information from what I hear on my ham radio tuned to 146.940 MHz, thanx to a ham radio club called LISATS, the Launch Information Service and Amateur Television System. The club is made of of Space Center retirees, and other space cadets. I'm one of the other space cadets. My ham call sign is N4SCY.

Once I hear there's a hold in the count, or that a launch has been "scrubbed" (cancelled) for the day, I send a text message to the group. Some of the users are friends of mine, who will stay in their house or office until I report we've come out of the last built-in hold, and will then go outside to watch the launch. Others are tourists who are camping along the river and don't have another source of information available. They found my service through a Google or Yahoo search on the internet, and signed up at http://SpaceLaunchInfo.Com/holds.html.

"LaunchHolds" is a one-way service. Only I can send messages to the group. But what if these people on my list want to get together for coffee after the launch? That's what the "LaunchChat" community is for! I'm also a great fan of Tom Lehrer, Mark Russel, and The Capitol Steps. That's why I started the Political Satire community (PoliSat).

Of course, you can look at my profile on UPOC, and see that I'm also receiving messages from other Communities as well. Yup, I'm looking for love (or at least, sex) in all the UPOC places. When I see a message from a young lady, I like to look up her profile. On the phone, I can send the text message ".info (UsersHandle)" to 8762 (which spells UPOC on the phone dial), and I'll get back some basic information - IF she's put information into her UPOC Profile in the first place.

I don't just read the Profile, either. I look at the UPOC Communities that people have connected to. I've found more interesting Communities by looking at the lists of some people. In fact, I've downloaded the lists of a couple of women to my PDA to "excite myself" at home in the evening.

Another thing to look at in a Communities page - is the word "Members" hyperlinked? Not all groups let you see the Member List (I have some NASA people on my LaunchHolds list, and they don't want to be known), but there are Communities that do let you peek at who the members are, and if you click on their handles, you get to see their profiles. Some girls have nearly ALL the sex - oops, I mean "Romance Groups" listed. Some of them are mighty interesting!

ALWAYS REMEMBER!! No one has to reply to you. And if they do, they don't have to be nice to you. Although, if you're nice to them, most will be nice back. If you're looking for a "no holds barred slut", then there ARE those with that sort of thing listed in their profile - they STILL don't have to reply to you. Or be nice. Some of them just may not have time for you just then, but might encourage you to contact them later.

I've started conversatins with women that invited me into new Communities, and who didn't like what the found when we got "one to one" in a chat. I explain that they contacted me first (with the invitation), and I'm sorry it didn't work out. "Goodbye", is how I end it, so they will know that I do NOT intend to bother her again. There are enough women on UPOC I'm having fun with, that I don't need headaches from someone who doesn't want to play nice.

I actually have had "cyber sex" with a couple of women on UPOC. Sure, I'm a member of "Sex With Strangers", but my first adventure in "Cybering" (as one young frined of mine told me it was called), or "Sexting" (as National Public Radio referred to it once), was a young lady who found ME. She was looking through the UPOC profiles for a Daddy to snuggle up with (and get licked by). All via text messaging, of course. She even MMS'd me photos of herself in suggestive poses to get me off. It worked, too!

In the other case, A lady sent a message to SWS (Sex With Strangers), and I did the ".info" routine to get her short profile sent to my phone. When it does that, it sends the information about the user from the UPOC Number of that user, so that Replies to the .info will go directly to the user! Now in SWS, replies go to the user anyway, but in some other groups, it does not. This is how to take the conversation off the Group, and PM (Personal Message) directly to the user.

Keep in mind, you should not send your mobile number out to a group. There my be someone out there in the group as perverted as I am! UPOC is a great way to communicate safely without giving out your number. Furthermore, you can send "block (username)" to 8762, and you don't have to hear from someone who's bothering you. Give out your phone number, and you have to change numbers - not a quick and easy solution.

One day, this one young lady had sent some messages that I'm SURE excited every guy in the Chat Room. The next night, she sent "It's 9:30. where is my man?". I'm sure she got alot of replies. I came back with, "I would come up behind you, & nuzzle your neck, licking behind your ear". She came back a few minutes later and offerred to fix me a drink. We got relaxed, and had a good time.

So guys, don't just go for the quick bang. Go slow, and get them warmed up.
